Position Available - iOS Developer

Nucleus Medical Media, Inc. is an award-winning creator of medical illustrations,
medical animations, and interactive multimedia for publishing, legal, healthcare,
entertainment, pharmaceutical, medical device, academia and other markets, both in
the U.S. and worldwide. Nucleus's medical images and animations are seen by
millions of people each month on WebMD, EBSCO Host, SMART Imagebase,
Healthwise, YouTube, MSN.com and thousands of other locations on the Internet, in
print, and in broadcasting.
Nucleus has an immediate opening for a software developer who will assist in
developing various animation and visual content-focused mobile applications, mainly
on the iPhone and iPad platforms, and eventually also on Android. The position will
have the added benefit of working with a dynamic and highly experienced team in the
flexible environment of a profitable, successful small business. Nucleus's animation
content is unmatched, and will enable the creation of stunning mobile apps.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of software development from specification to
coding and testing.
Minimal qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years hands on ObjectiveC and/or iOS SDK experience in a professional
environment
- Experience working as a member of an integrated team including other
developers, project managers, and graphic designers
- A passion for mobile device technologies, especially iPhone and iPad

Additional qualifications ("nice to have") include:
- Experience in video playback in a mobile environment
- Experience in communicating with a web service from mobile apps
- Basic knowledge of major mobile platforms (Android, iOS, etc.)
Successful candidates will be highly motivated, self‐driven, and willing to work on‐site
in Kennesaw, Georgia. He or she will also have a strong desire to learn new
technologies and be willing to go "all in" to achieve project and company goals.
